Tochigi Tour

because i dont have anything to do rite now besides waiting for afternoon to come coz im going to kitaurawa to see conconjump live again, i decided to write my holiday journey during the spring break starting from 7 march that was after school over and before im went back to my country. yes, we, 12 of foreign students in kisarazu national college got two days holiday for free, sponsored by our school, going to tochigi-ken! what a nice school to give us free holiday tour!

because this was a join venture tour with foreign student of oyama national college, we have to go to their college first to fetch them and visit some of their cool places in their school. so we headed to their school first and for me its my second time going there. ive been there illegally last time, i think in summer and this time nothing surprised me except the dormitory getting more dirtier.

we at oyama fountain

we didnt find any interesting place in oyama kousen but we find this cool car!

after we all (kisarazu and oyama student) got together in the bus, we headed to the first ever school in japan and i forgot their name. i think ashikawa school something like that. or is it arakawa? ahh nevermind. so this one old cute man give us guidance during the visit and he sure very fun to look haha. we went to the first ever school in japan and all i got to say was this old cute guidance, so you can imagine how boring was it rite.

this was once a school. ashikawa school?

the brilliant confucious and not-so-brilliant me

me, nyonjo and some god that give health to people according to one lady there

so after visiting the school we headed to our hotel. finally! it was a cool hotel and im satisfied with it. worth the stay! so after dinner at the hotel we were giving free time to do whatever we like so we decided to go to the nearest bowling center! there we had a lot of fun! its been a while since we had fun together, i mean for us kisarazu foreign student. the result was surprising too. from ranking no.1 to 11 (i guess) the game were conquered by the kisarazu foreign student! yeay, we kicked oyama foreign student's asses!!! so after the game we headed back to the hotel and have our own relaxing good night sleep....

bowling for soup anyone?

all of us plus somaiyeh's ghost

the next day we had to woke up early for check out and then straight to the copper mines that was operated a long time ago to make coins. it was a copper mines and all of us sure didnt have any interest in it but we have to go there coz its our school trip holiday and we were all sponsored by our own school, you guys understand rite? but it turned out to be a picture taking party in the mines instead of a boring tour. we sure took a lot of pictures there with these wooden people wondering around the mines half naked. yeah, very interesting....

introducing my half naked friend, fujimoto kenta

after visiting the mines we went to our main event or you can say the purpose of this tour that was visiting the so called nikko. nikko is a place where there are a lot of beautiful temples in it, and was belief to be the first place gods step his feet in the land of the rising sun among the buddha believer. so here you can see a lot of cool temples and hear interesting stories of the buddha religion. we all had fun here and some picture taking party going on too but this time we keep it under control coz its a sacred place. we had our lunch there and it was awefull! yeah, its my first time tasting awefull food in japan. not just me, all of us said its awefull. aaa nevermind... its the first time for me and hope the last time too.

one of the cool temples there

see the monkeys back there? i know im cooler than them

this picture is before i tasted the food

so after visiting all the cool places in nikko we headed to oyama college to drop the oyama foreign students before going back home. during journey back to kisarazu, we asked for karaoke in the bus and our guidance granted our request. so we headed home with a karaoke party in the bus. what a fun journey back. we reached kisarazu college at 7.00pm something and ki and din had planning dinner for us coz it will be their last dinner with us coz they will graduate in this short time. so we had dinner at dennys and the cheque was on ki and din. thank u sempai!!

at oyama's front gate

so it turned out to be really fun tour! thanx to our school for sponsored us and to all my foreign friends too for being there making the trip worth to remember. thank u all!!!

Yellowcard was RAD!!!!

shinagawa: nothing changed

last night was rad! yellowcard was rad!!! going there alone. its been a while since ive been in tokyo. so yesterday was my first time going there since i came back from my country. and i just came back two days ago haha. tokyo just the same. nothing changed. just the same old tokyo like one year ago. i reached at the live house that is shibuya ax 30 minutes before the show. when reaching there the place was already full with the crowd and i didnt know that there is an opening act before the yellowcard show until i saw the opening band's banner on the stage. it wrote, The Movement. so the opening band will be the movement and i never heard of them before so i just wait and see. they turned out great! they are 3p band and they kind of political band with the vocalist that sounds like mighty mighty bosstones. very cool! they played rock and roll and a little bit punk rock! i enjoyed them!

shibuya ax

then came the yellowcard. so rad! the crowd were friendly too. we all had real fun! i helped one or two peoples getting the crowd surf. and then during ocean avenue i did one! it turned out to be their final world tour that day. what a lucky day for us! so the yellowcard played like there was no tomorrow a lot from their debut album, ocean avenue! after the show there was one girl coming at me and thanx me for getting her up doing the crowd surf. huh... its the first time for me someone said thank u for doing that.

yellowcard's violin

so i went back and had my dinner at kisarazu syzeria. they have new menu that i can eat! its vegetable and mushroom pepperochino! syzeria saikou!!! yellowcard saikou!!!!

The Jokes On Me

just finished having drinks with my friends. like always all jokes were on me. whenever im with my ppktj's friend i will be the main target. even when there is somebody i just know that day he or she will know all about me in just 30 minutes if he or she is there listening to all my loser history telling by all my friends. i never get angry coz i think it is fun too. how loser i am and just remember all the stupid things ive done in the past. for me when somebody tell you your history then you will know that that person is actually remembering you on how you were in the past and he will remembering you all of his life and that is something you can be proud of. and for the person that you just know listening to it, he or she can know all about yourself without you telling it and thats saving time! maybe you will feel angry a little bit but when you take it as a joke well... nobodys perfect right. anyway, love my friends!

last weekend i felt such a loser. or im actually a loser and i just never realized it before. i want to talk about it but i think now is not the perfect time to talk about it. maybe some other time when i remember how loser i was i will write it here. damn wut a loser. today is the birthday of conconjump's vocalist, satomi. happy birthday! if you ever read this... im so obsess with them right know and want to marry with one of them or three of them and i think that makes me a total loser! i think im going to stop writing now before im showing more of my loser-self.

Its My Last Day of 3rd Year and Last Weekend was Awesome!

at last! my 3rd year here at kisarazu national college is over! another two year to go! yosh!!!

last day of school

last weekend was the best! friday after my presentation ended (i did well! yeay!) i finished up my last programming, handed it to my teacher and then straight away went to kumagaya, saitama to see my favourite band conconjump performed live (again)!!! this time like i said before i went there not alone. i brang my friend along, nabila, my band's drummer. actually we will meet at the kumagaya as she was from gunma and gunma is just one hour straight from kumagaya. like me, i had to go to tokyo first and from tokyo have to take another 1 hour train to kumagaya. from kisarazu to tokyo, i went by bus and i should went early because every friday evening the road is jammed with cars. so i missed out about that and have to stayed in the bus for almost an hour and a half before i reached tokyo station. from tokyo station. because of the traffic jammed, i missed the 6.40 train from ueno. so i checked the schedule again and from akabane there was a train to kumagaya at 7.04. so i went to akabane and took that train. conconjump was to be schedule to perform at 7.45. because i was already late, i phoned nabila and gave her direction to go to the live house first without me coz she will be missing a lot if she wait for me.

so i arrived at kumagaya at 8.06pm and ran like hell to the live house coz i dont want to miss my favourite band. i arrived at the live house and heard a familiar music from downstair. damn... they already started!!!! just i entered the live room they already started third songs. i saw nabila behind the crowd and invited her to go in front. and the performance like always, The Best!!!! so i missed out [lucky] and [hinamatsuri-they only played it on that day... waaa.. how can i missed it!] but i enjoyed the whole performance. and so did nabil (i think so). after conconjump's live there this band from okinawa performed. they were called All Japan Goith, they are ska band. and i love ska band. so i enjoyed that one too. the crowd love them, they really have a lot of fan.

so after all the live me and nabila went to the conconjump's goods shop coz they were there. they were really kind and friendly and they already know my name because i use to write in their message board all the time. but i never thought they really read it. so that really surprised me and im kind of embarrass because im kind of regular there and i wrote a lot of things even my age and why i like them bla bla... so u got the picture. but they really nice and even thanx me for always write in their message board. actually im kind of happy and would like to talk a lot with them but it just when you were in front of someone you really like and adore you just speechless. even your conversation is in english you will be speechless! thrust me! i blew up another big chance but i think they know how i feel that time. maybe next time i will write what to talk about first hehe. after meeting conconjump, i met with their additional member that play guitar for them, tomoko or tomocchi? wutever. she's really good and her real band is Tokyo Pinsalocks. tokyo pinsalocks is a band that play kind of retro music and a lot of effect. you can say coldplay or blur but japanese/girl version. anyway i took a picture with her and she's kind of cute in it haha...

conconjump and nabila

so after the show, me and nabila went to tokyo and during the trip had some conversation about our band. hope this band is going somewhere. after that got a call from paklan and we met at the student house. abg salleh was there and after dinner i went straight to sleep coz tomorrow i got another live to attend.

i woke up early, went to shinkiba, studio coast and my independence d live adventure begun. here is the report! but before that, lets look at my road schedule for the event.

like on the schedule, i started with houston call coz i kind of knew them and had watched their video clip before. and they really good! you can say they are the new get up kids! their keyboardist is a japanese and very friendly. i met him outside and told that they were really good and they sound like get up kids a little bit. after hearing that he said that they have the same producer so thats why they sound kind of same. well get up kids maybe over but they have a lot of follower band behind them so get up kids fan like me shouldnt be worry coz we still can here the new get up kids band like houston call!

after houston call that was in spade stage, i went to the clover stage to see endzweck. actually i never heard of them before but after touring the other two stages, i think endzweck really make me want to stay! they are a melodic emo core japanese band and u cant understand what the vocalist is singing wether its in japanese or english but their music is really strong and melodic! they are really interesting band! hardcore fan or emo screamo fan are very recommended!

after endzweck i went to see fireinside but they sux so i went to see less famous band, drum kan in dia stage and i was very surprised coz they also very good. they sound like jimmy eat world but japanese version of jew! i enjoyed them very much!

after drum kan i took some short tour at clover stage and saw socratic. they kind of typical alternative band. dont have anything special.

after socratic i went to see good for nothing coz they are in my favourite band to see on this event. and they are good for typical punk rock band. i did crowd surf here!

after good for nothing i went to see never heard of it. they have a lot of fan coz they had been here a year or two years ago. they are very typical pop punk band wearing 80's rock fashion. they did a very cool performance and the vocalist did stage jump a lot of time! i mean really lots! they playing pop punk but i never understand why they stayed underground. i also did crowd surf here!

so after never heard of it i took some short rest, visit some shops and took my lunch. there were kebab stall there and it was halal. and people who sell it were malaysians. so they were the only malaysians i met in concert till now eventhough they were not there to attend it. at last!!! after lunch i went to see dream state. they sound like something corporate. i think they allright.

after dream state was riddle. a very powerful melodic emo japanese band.

after riddle i went to see let go. i think they kind of good. they are emo punk rock band i think.

let go finished and i went to see oceanlane. they have foreigner in their band. he playing guitar and vocal. i heard they are doing tour now in japan. fan of emo band is recommended to see them.

after oceanlane i kind of wondering around didnt know where to go. first i decided to see second shot coz i heard they really famous among the crowd that come that day. but after a song i think they just a typical punk rock band. nothing special. so then i decided to see newstartingover on dia stage. they were on taste of chaos last time but that time i was late so i didnt watched them. this time i have to see them. so i struggled to enter in the dia stage full house and i succeed. they really play very good music. i enjoyed it very much and they were really emo! the crowd also very cool. for me i think they were the best emo screamo band that day! thumps up to newstartingover!!!

after newstartingover, i went to see nicotine. they are veteran in japanese underground scene and they play typical punk rock. they got a lot of fan too. punk rock till dead!!!

after nicotine, another one of my favourite band to see performed! its maximum the hormon. i think most of the people who came that day were from their fan. they were good! i mean really good! also got the best time here. two thumps up to hormon!!! i got a free towel here. someguy drop it so i took it!

after hormon the one that i have waited the most performed! its alkaline trio. yes i know... ive been to their concert two days before but what the hell. they are my favourite band!!! i dont care if they play 5 time also, i will go. so this time alkaline trio played just for a short time. well.. all the band just performed for 30 minutes plus plus and alkaline trio as a guest band also have to follow the rule. so there were no encore after the show and that makes some crowd very angry. i met with two angry australians who ask for encore but didnt get it. well actually they really nice and friendly. they were besides me all the time during alkaline trio. and we dance and sing together. anyway alkaline trio did crawl again and i sang from first to last. matt skiba saw me during that time and gave a smile to me. im so damn happy!!!

so the show finished with alkaline trio without any encore. it is my last concert before going back home to malaysia. but i will be back to my concert live 20 days from now starting with yellowcard tour!!! just wait for my next live report. till then, im going home tomorrow!!!!!

I Got Credit for My Algorithm and Alkaline Trio Make Me Cry!

today i got repeat paper for algorithm. its the only subject that i dont understand at all til now. the first mid semester i got zero. the semester exam i got 30. then at first i thought its impossible to pass this paper but the last mid semester i got 100 for it. so there was hope!!! then this last semester i did all my best but i got 60 and it should be 70 to pass. for the second time i thought it was impossible but yesterday my teacher told me that he will make a repeat paper for the subject because my result is really below the line. and there are 3 of us that will take this repeat paper. so yesterday i do all my best studying and memorize all the programme that i learned during my 3rd year here. so i took the paper and i must get 40 over 50 to pass it and i got 40! very lucky indeed! im so happy till i forgot that i have a concert to attend at tokyo today!! what a great way to celebrate (of coz i did all the syukur thing first).

so i grab loke eng's bicycle and straight away went to the kisarazu station and took a bus form there to tokyo. the concert was held at harajuku astro hall. it was alkaline trio concert. i never been at astro hall before so i thought it will take time to look for it but after i reached the harajuku station at 6.30 or something, i walked for 5 minutes and asked a man about the place and it just near there. i arrived there just in time!

before entering the place, i thought it was a big place coz there got 'hall' in 'astro hall' but its not that big and not that small. just fine i think. so the alkaline trio start played at 7 and the first song they play was private eye from their best album, "from here to infirmary" followed with mercy me! during mercy me my belt broked and i had to go to the side where people were less aggresive because i had to held my pants from going down. yeah this time i cant joined the pit. just like the no use time. but at the side i saw this one lady. she is so small so she have to look between the people. she always change her place to take a good look at the alkaline trio. and i think she was alone. she's kind of cute. so besides alkaline trio i watched her all the time hehe. she sure know alkaline trio coz she can sing along. i was kind of surprise coz girl at concert sometimes just followed their boyfriend or friend but this girl.. she's really know and like alkaline trio. i wanted to talk to her but doesnt have that much courage. what a miss... argh! that just not the best part of the concert. the best part was when alkaline trio played crawl. crawl is my favourite song of alkaline trio. the lyric is so deep and always touched my heart. when they played it i just want to cry or something. alkaline trio is so emo damn!!!

there it was, my report for todays live. tomorrow another live and the day after tomorrow also got another live. i will be posting my adventure of attending live here next week maybe. well... time to go. have to do presentation for tomorrow. til then!

Summersonic Is Killing Me!

damn damn damn!!!! i saw the band who will be playing in summersonic this year!!! and guess who will be playing? My Chemical Romance!!!! im not okay right now!!! really not okay!!! not oh f%*king KAY!!!!!

motion city soundtrack
