Transformers Animated: Leader Class Bulkhead
Posted by biggu | Filed under Itchyhands, プレタイム!
Oh look, Bulkhead got upgrades!
No, it’s not just any ordinary upgrades. He’s been upgraded to Leader Class. OMG, right?
Leader class is a totally different toy from the voyager class toy. First of all the size (obviously). Then the arsenal, he’s equipped with missles and a turret in vehicle mode, and strangely placed rotating saw on his right hand. I don’t mind the wrecking ball you know, it’s more accurate. Whatever, my opinion doesn’t count. He also have a few gimmicks installed. The Autobots insignia, when pressed will make him talk. I don’t want to spoil it, but he says, “Time for the big guns” “You can do it buddy!” and “Ooopps, my bad”.
I love this guy Leader Class or Voyager Class. The toy is just so solid. It’s worth it, even though both class a bit pricey.
“We love crude oil!”
On vehicle mode, when the Autobot insignia is pressed, it will trigger the alarm. Neat!

I almost forgot! You will also get a headmaster unit with the figure. Like in the animated series, snap on the headmaster unit and you’ll unlock a nice surprise.
BUY it if you still don’t have the voyager class. Nothing wrong with having both though.

Transformers Animated: Deluxe Class Prowl
Posted by biggu | Filed under Itchyhands, プレタイム!
I love ninjas. Know what I would love more than ninjas? Ninja robots!
Here I present you Transformers Animated: Prowl.
This is my first Transformers figure that is a motorcycle. I’ve seen other figures including Movie Arcee, Elita One, and some of those Cybertron bikes. They all suck! All of them have tyres break in half in robot mode. So not credible, yes?
Then I heard prowl is going to be released. I’ve got to see this! And I was sold. He looks so good in the videos, furthermore he’s a freaking ninja in the animated series. Oh my God, I am so gonna get this!
Ultra Magnus says “Ride or die, kids.”
Here, Prowl’s vehicle mode is a police superbike. Well, at least it looks like a superbike. 500cc ok? Looks very nice, wait until you see where both tyres go.
And now, robot mode. Look at the tyres now situated at his legs. Kudos to the designers, you are all winnars!
Robot mode is awesome, and the articulation is very good. It comes with two oversized shurikens, which can be stored at its rim sides. Yeah, bad-ass ninjas bring oversized shurikens to the fight.
I tried to kick your teeth, and I almost fell down!
Remember kids, ninjas > pirates.
This is a very good figure, looks great in vehicle mode, great articulation in robot mode. Must BUY it!

Transformers Animated: Deluxe Class Lockdown
Posted by biggu | Filed under Itchyhands, プレタイム!
Owh look, it’s the bat-mobile! It’s the new bat-mobile!
No it’s not. It’s just Lockdown from Transformers Animated. Lockdown is this bounty hunter that hunts for upgrades.
I just love the bad-ass look of the car. Yeah, bat-mobile is so awesome, no?
At first glance, the robot mode doesn’t look very promising. legs seem too long. Hands articulation somewhat funny too. And I struggled with posing this figure. But I finally I got it after millimeters away from giving up. Posing this figure is fun (actually).
Even made this diorama here with Roll. “Arrr, gimme upgrades!”
Being the upgrades masta’, this figure comes with an upgrade-kit. OMG, so obvious!
Its a gauntlet like thinggy that has something that looks like a gun, and a hook. Oh yeah, a hook is far more useful than a hand.
It does look bad-ass by the way. Pirate-ish bad-ass.
A pirate walks into a bar with a steering wheel stuck at his zipper. So the bartender told him, “Hey there mate, you got a steering wheel stuck at yer zipper”
And he replied, “O ya i knew that, and it’s been driving me nuts”
Bad-ass look both mode, vehicle and robot. Just look at that face, menacing. BUY it!

Transformers Animated: Voyager Class Bulkhead
Posted by biggu | Filed under Itchyhands, プレタイム!
I have this guy for quite sometime now. In the animated series, Bulkhead is the clumsy yet gentle giant of the autobots.
In vehicle mode Bulkhead is a tactical operations transport. Easily said it’s a SWAT car. But I like my SWAT car black, so let’s make it a tactical operations vehicle. The figure looks solid, feels solid in your hand too. Has that futuristic look to it, the animated series does take place in the future. I love the vehicle mode. It looks exactly like it is in the animated series. Only rant I would have over it is the color, looks so army-ish. Not city friendly.
Now the robot mode, looks really cute. Guess that’s why I got it in the first place. He is bulky in robot mode (hence the name, duh), solid, and strong too. Haha!
There’s two feature on this figure, a popped out wrecking ball out of it’s hands (just like in the cartoons!) and a punching action on the other hand. I really love how these features are sort of hidden. Owh, who’s the bitch now eh, Starscream?!
I was very happy with this figure being it was my first Transformers Animated figure and I did pay quite a ridiculous price for it. But no regrets there, it’s just worth it!
It’s out now on official release by Hasbro Malaysia on selected toy shops. BUY IT!

Transformers the Movie: Jazz (Premium Deluxe)
Posted by biggu | Filed under Itchyhands, プレタイム!
I never had the urge to look for yet buy this figure. At first glance it was (I repeat, WAS) an ugly figure. Held the packaging a few times at the toy shops and what not. Very ugly in robot mode.
Then I saw this one picture of the exact same figure, in premium treatment, posing in robot mode, shining. Looks so good, and I was sold at the way the photographer posed this figure. Job well done!
So here it is, Transformers the Movie: Premium Deluxe Class Jazz.
First of all. The new metallic paint is painted over the old regular Jazz. Do expect the paint job to be scratched, and chipped out of the box. That being said, another problem with the paint job is the paint will keep on chipping. Don’t believe me? Check out your hands after holding and playing with the figure. Just a note of caution there. You might want to wash your hands properly after or you could die.
I don’t like the look of the figure in vehicle mode. It looks a bit cartoon-ish. And I find it not that solid in vehicle mode. Some areas can’t be closed properly during transformation from robot to car. And the telescoping sword/spear on the car spoiler? pffft!
On the other hand, robot mode looks quite good. Decently poseable (not a real word) and solid. I like its head the best. Articulation in robot mode is not bad.
Overall, love the shiny new look. But paint chips and scratches is a pain in the backside. Buy it if only you don’t have the regular Jazz. Otherwise, you can skip it.
